Thorne International Boiler Services Ltd. were
contracted to complete the installation of a Siemens SST-300 turbine as part of the main installation works on two waste to energy plants in Birmingham, UK.

Scope of supply included balance of plant instrumentation, syngas steam clean piping, and temporary steam blow piping.

Included as part of STG installation, were the STG baseframe, STG cooler, flash tank, gland steam condenser, oil system and associated piping, and drain system and associated piping.

STG installed onto heavy duty anti-vibration mounts.
